Website for off road guide “BRPMAP”

“BRPMAP” is a unique project aimed at popularizing weekend tourism and supporting the authority of the BRP brand. Our task was to create a convenient service that allows users to upload and view routes with detailed and colorful descriptions.
Logo
We developed a logo for the project, based on the client’s request to use the related and well-read attributes of travelers. After a series of discussions and adjustments, the final version was compiled.
Maps, places, points
Our task was to create an analog of Google Maps with additional advanced features.
We used OpenStreetMap for terrain view and Google Maps for satellite view.
Each point on the map have rich editing capabilities. You can set a unique icon and choose the type of point or add photos and videos to its description.
Special places can be set to the global map.
Routes and GPS tracks
To upload the route user can simply select a GPX file from his device. The site will automatically detect it, parse the name, all points, and calculate the total length. Also users can download GPX tracks from any route posted on the site.
UGC
Any user can register on the site and share their routes, emotions and experience with others.
Adaptive layout
The site has adaptive layout and a number of additional features for UX on mobile devices.
